EMIWISE is built on a simple privacy principle: your financial inputs are yours. Calculations happen in your browser and aren't sent to any server we control.
What we collect
We don't collect personally identifiable information. We don't ask for your name, email, phone or any account details - there are no accounts.
The values you type into our calculators (income, EMI, SIP amounts, etc.) are processed entirely on your device. They are not transmitted to us, nor stored on any server.
Local storage
Some pages - notably the Dashboard and the Feedback section - save your inputs in your browser's localStorage so you don't have to re-enter them on your next visit. This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are visited and from which countries. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free, doesn't fingerprint visitors, and doesn't collect personally identifiable information.
We collect: page URL, referrer, country, device type and screen size. We don't collect: IP addresses (they're hashed and discarded), names, emails, or any input you type.
Cookies
We don't use tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is localStorage, on the pages mentioned above, and only for your own convenience.
Third parties
The site is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com). Vercel processes the network requests that load the site and may collect standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
We don't share your data with any other third party because we don't collect any data to share.
Children's privacy
EMIWISE is intended for adults making financial decisions. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 18.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf. To clear locally-stored values, open your browser's site settings for EMIWISE and clear the storage.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be highlighted with a fresh "Last updated" date at the top.
